How can you figure out your primary and secondary DNS?

I have a linksys router, and i’m trying to figure out what my primary and secondary DNS are so i can hook up my PS3 online. Thanks!

Your primary and secondary DNS is the address of your ISP provider. If you do not know them and are trying to set up a modem router for example you will need to use a working computer to go to your providers website and look up router setup information. These settings can be found there.

Log into the router, the DNS should be listed on the main Status page along with the external IP address. The DNS is the domain-name-server at your ISP that allows you to type in http://www.google.com instead of typing in a specific IP address; the server translates your text into the best known local IP of your nearest google.com server.

As a side note, if you are trying to specify an IP address to steal wireless Internet from someone, that is theft, you should stop trying.
