How do I find my primary and secondary DNS numbers?

I need to have my primary and secondary DNS numbers to get my PS3 online.Please tell me how to find them.

you can get the dns from you router and/or internet modem. those number is not need in a connection for ps3. set it on auto.

It should have an option to autodetect.
If so leave it on that.

If no autodetect (which would be weird) then just enter the same IP address as your router internet gateway..
192.168.0.1 or similar.

It will then use the router’s DNS settings.

call your isp server and they should give them to you.

u can use the world wide dns server ip that i also tested on a chat room and passed

Click on start>run. Type cmd. In the black box, type ipconfig /all. That will give you your primary and secondary DNS info.

Macs use 4.2.2.1 and 4.2.2.2

you can check your numbers from the start button go to run then type in nslookup.

The 2 numbers that you will see there are the 2 numbers that you are asking about. it will say your domain name is non existant but the numbers are correct.
