Will the publish 24/7 support IPB or a SMF ? Because I want to set up a forum online, but I’ve seen if you buy the domain through the IPB company itself it looks a bit crappy really.

I’m pretty sure Publish247 supports SMF forums, there’s a number in the upper left of their homepage page to verify for sure. Yeah best bet˛ˇ is to go with SMF with your own domain, as SMF has a lot of themes to choose your own look.
