Whats the difference between DNS Server and External IP Address?

| DNS | By: registrar

When I dump Ipconfig /all into a .txt file I see that it shows three seperate values for the DNS Server. My question is, since ipconfig /all does not give an external IP address, are they the same? Why are theyre three?

Hello,

An IP address is the location on the internet of a computer that is cconnected. DNS servers have IP addresses too, but they list domain names associated with an IP like jttechonline.com is associated with 68.184.255.141. So you could go to our web site with either entry. Check out http://jttechonline.com/dnschk.php or http://68.184.255.141/dnschk.php for examples.

Hope this Helps!
