Amazing! True indeed “Only in our time”… but, we see why MJB chose one of her songs, “Caught Up In The Rapture”. MJB was young, RAW, talent that had an appreciation for the (truly) talented like Anita Baker, “Ree-Ree”, Chaka Khan so forth and so on.

After watching this, I have deduced that Anita is not merely a singer. Calling her such would not be doing her justice. She does ASTOUNDING things with her voice that no one else could match. They could try, but the emotion wouldn’t be there. Brilliant. SImply brilliant.

@cinnamonstixx34 Funny that, but I have been wondering the same thing when I get the chance to see modern MTVs. But they get the deal, surprisingly! And their kind buy the music. And they get the money, lots of money that they don’t know how to handle. I even joke with some of my friends when a newbie is out there, “There you go. A new client of drug lords.”
