This album is really great, it exceeded my expectations. Bittersweet is just such a genius band. I’ve been fan of them since their first album. This album is a must have! Rating: 5 / 5

if i would have heard this album on its own, it would have gotten 5 stars from me. but, because i find i like the darker, more “bitter” side of their album “the mating game”, this one seems a little too up-beat for me. still, it’s great lounge music with beautiful, fun vocals and instrumentation. This album by the duo Bitter:Sweet (Shana Halligan and Kiran Shahani) and is a unique blend of jazz, rock, electronic and smooth music. It refines the sound made in their initial album The Mating Game. Shana Halligan has a smooth and sensuous voice and there is an obvious influence from “The Supreme Beings of Leisure” sound which Kiran Shahani founded with Rick Torres.
The music is very melodic and has some very memorable melodies which includes the title track. A thoroughly likable album that I purchased on iTunes first but then felt the need to get the fidelity of the CD so that I could get more enjoyment. Rating: 5 / 5

Her soft, sexy voice keeps you interested while the music lifts you to another plane. These are songs that tell stories that you want to be a part of. Highly recommended! Rating: 5 / 5

Bught this album on an Amazon recommendation. Unfortunately this was one of the rare “misses”. The album itself is pleasant enough but more suited to background noise than my normal choice of music. So, in my opinion, not really stiring or exciting but you should really check it out yourself – “one mans meat” as they say ! lol Rating: 3 / 5
