@MrBda27 Note how I never called you Goth. I’m not goth either and I like the sort of music, in fact Evanscence is classfied as gothic music in some programs as far as I can remember. The reason why I called it depressing was because that’s what I felt listening to her singing. She has a beautiful voice, but her lyrics are incredibly sad or enlightening.

Now I’m in no way bashing Lady Gaga because I understand her. I read a biography about her which opened me up to her. She’s not a truly bad singer and sure she wears practically nothing… but to her… its art (performance art) too. Everything in her performance has a meaning and it all works together for her. She actually makes her videos and songs about something too. Maybe some of you can just say.. I don’t like her music.

@bun223 – Well the chick from We are the Fallen is from american idol, but they suck something awful, they have been doing cover songs from the fallen album of evanescence. Evanescence will be better off without the douchebags that left and got fired, the new album comes out soon.

Evanescene is awesome, and what I think is great about the offshoot, We Are Fallen, is that they seem to forget that its Amy Lee’s voice that’s Evanescence so great. Between that and her haunting lyrics, Evanescence will be around forever. It takes a lot of work to be this good, and I know that I couldn’t do it.

@a7xrocker121212 That’s a half baked bullshit story. Her original band didn’t like being in Evanescence so they made a ripoff band called “We are the Fallen”. Evanescence is still around, it was just some of the original guys like the drummer and a guitarist.
