good god, it comes to something when viewers of a sitcom refuse to suspend their disbelief- moaning about geographical upfucks and apalling accents. ever think that the unfaithful accents are there for comedic effect? ever consider that scandinavian countries are rather, well, to americans, y’ know, much of a muchness?
but easily the worst thing is commenters moaning about other commenters…

@SCSAZM Finland is not part of Scandinavia, their language is not Scandinavian either. But Finland is one of the Nordic countries. Not exactly the same thing, though.

Someone already mentioned it, but Scandinavia is NOT a single country. Denmark, Norway and Sweden…I should know. I live in Denmark. At least I would expect a cultured show like Frasier to avoid this mistake.

Yep, and what’s funny is that they always use Pike Place/Pike Street for a street name in the show. An homage to Starbucks. And, of course, Cafe Nervosa is the ultimate Starbucks tribute.
