Try preparing sweet potatoes like white potatoes (butter, sour cream, chives, black pepper, salt…although I’d probably stay away from the bacon bits). Tastier and better for you!

No, no teriyaki. It’s a lot sweeter than adobo, without the vinegary tang. Though orange peel might be nice in some mashed sweet potatoes…maybe with some soy sauce and a little chili flake…

yea i have some sweet potatoes in my house and i’m thinking about mashing them like Alton…but we’re out of Adobo sauce do you think i could substitute Terriyaki ? and maybe grate some orange peel?
