Incumbents returned but college measure fails
Voters in the Pass area appeared to have re-elected city council incumbents in Banning and Beaumont. However, a bond measure to bring a permanent Mt. San Jacinto College campus to Banning failed. Measure U, which needed 55 percent of the vote to pass, garnered 51 percent yes.

The University of Arkansas today reported a big surge in enrollment this year — the biggest one-year increase in 64 years — following reported increases at other colleges public and private. Can just ANYONE call a university’s registrar office to see if a certain person graduated from that college, or are only employers / those whom the graduate has authorized the college to give that information out to able to check on that?
